Prof. Dr. med. Dr. rer. nat. Christian Schubert is an expert in psychoneuroimmunology and integrative medicine. He leads the relevant department at the Medical University of Innsbruck. With over 20 years of research experience, he combines the fields of medicine, psychology, and psychotherapy to investigate the connections between the body, mind, and immune system.

He is the editor of the textbook „Psychoneuroimmunology and Psychotherapy” as well as the author of the bestseller „What Makes Us Sick – What Heals Us: Breakthrough into a New Medicine“. Schubert's work shows how integrative approaches promote health and how the interplay between the psyche and immune defence can be used therapeutically.

As a researcher and expert in complementary medicine, he is dedicated to developing practical concepts that help people holistically strengthen their physical and mental health.
