André Stern, born in 1971, son (and close collaborator) of researcher and educator Arno Stern, international author and speaker, and Ambassador for Childhood, grew up outside of any formal schooling. In his works, guided by his own experiences as a child and parent, he draws on the latest scientific findings to describe the child as a giant of potential, to speak of the spontaneous inclinations awaiting our trust, to announce a new attitude towards children, and to invite us to sow enthusiasm.

André Stern is married with two children. He is also a musician, composer, guitar maker, speaker, two-time TEDx speaker, and journalist. He was appointed head of the „Men for Tomorrow“ initiative by Prof. Dr. Gerald Hüther. Furthermore, he is the initiator of the „Ecology of Childhood“ movement. Since 2024, André Stern has been ensuring the continuation and impact of his father's work, building on over 30 years of collaboration.
