Dr. med. Jens Wurster studied human medicine at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he completed his doctorate. He undertook his homeopathic training under Dr Michael Barthel, Dr Horst Barthel and Dr Dario Spinedi, with whom he was in supervision from 1992 to 1998. Since 1998, he has specialised in the homeopathic treatment of tumor diseases and, until 2019, worked as a senior consultant and supervisor at the Clinica St. Croce in Ticino.

Dr Wurster is the founder of the research firm BIOIMMUNESCIENCE, which specialises in the research and development of immune-supportive dietary supplements. He also founded the interdisciplinary research branch of BIOIMMUNOLOGY, which combines insights from conventional medicine, naturopathy, homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and molecular biological and regenerative research.

Alongside his professional career, Dr Wurster is also active in martial arts. He opened his own kung fu school in 2012, where he teaches Wing Chun kung fu. His medical practice is located in Minusio, a district of Locarno in Ticino.
